The Wolf E Series Transitional 30-inch speed oven (SPO3050TE/S/T) is the one to buy if you want a speed oven that matches a Wolf wall oven and is easy to use. It combines a 900-watt microwave, convection, micro-bake and micro-roast and a 1,500-watt broiler in a 1.6-cubic-foot cavity, with 13 cooking modes and an 8-inch color touchscreen. List price is about $3,700. It has no Wi-Fi, and Monogram packs more features for a similar price, but Wolf's design and simplicity win many kitchens.

Design and build
This is Wolf's 30-inch Transitional speed oven in the E Series, with a stainless face, tubular handle and a soft-open/close door. It installs standard or flush-inset, so it can sit perfectly flush with your cabinetry, and it's commonly placed above a wall oven or warming drawer.
The 8-inch full-color LCD touchscreen is the main interface. Wolf's Gourmet mode offers presets that set the mode, temperature and time for you.
Performance on paper
Wolf lists a 1.6-cubic-foot cavity, a 900-watt microwave with 10 power levels and a 1,500-watt broil element, with single-fan convection. Per AJ Madison, the 13 modes are Microwave, Melt/Soften, Defrost, Auto Reheat, Popcorn, Beverage, Keep Warm, Convection, Micro Bake, Micro Roast, Broil, Gourmet and Multiple Sequence.
Micro Bake and Micro Roast are the reason to buy a speed oven: they combine microwave energy with convection heat, so a chicken or a gratin cooks faster than in a conventional oven but still browns. The broiler handles melts and finishing.
Who it's for (and who should skip it)
Buy it if you want a second oven that also replaces your microwave, especially in a smaller kitchen or a Wolf suite. Families who reheat, roast weeknight dinners and want one appliance for both will get the most out of it.
Skip it if you want Wi-Fi, an in-oven camera or a probe; Monogram's Advantium and Miele's speed oven offer more tech. Skip it too if you only reheat and defrost; a microwave drawer costs less and does that job.
Price, warranty and service
Wolf lists the SPO3050TE/S/T at about $3,700. Wolf also sells M Series (SPO3050TM) and Professional (SPO3050PM/PE) versions; we haven't verified their prices. Wolf enforces minimum advertised pricing, so savings come from packaging with other Sub-Zero, Wolf or Cove appliances. AJ Madison lists a 2-year full parts and labor warranty, with additional limited coverage under Wolf's written warranty.
How it compares
Wolf vs Miele speed ovens is the key comparison; the Miele PureLine 24-inch speed oven adds Wi-Fi and a probe in a narrower size. The Monogram 30-inch Advantium speed oven brings a camera and 175-plus recipes. Our best speed ovens and the speed ovens and microwave drawers hub explain the category, and a package quote can show bundle pricing.
Our verdict
The Wolf E Series 30-inch speed oven is the design-led, easy-to-use pick: microwave, convection and broil in a 1.6 cu ft cavity with a big touchscreen, for about $3,700. Tech fans will prefer Monogram or Miele. Wolf kitchens that want simplicity should buy it.
