The Wolf 36-inch dual fuel range with infrared griddle (DF36450G) is the benchmark pro-style range for people who cook a lot and bake a lot. It pairs four dual-stacked sealed burners up to 20,000 BTU and a 15,000 BTU infrared griddle with a 6.3-cubic-foot electric oven that has dual VertiCross convection and 10 cooking modes. List price runs about $13,995 to $15,580 depending on knobs, bezels and finish. The trade-off is price: you're paying top dollar, and a 2-year full warranty is merely standard.

Design and build
This is the range people picture when they hear "Wolf": stainless, heavy grates and the option of signature red knobs. Wolf now offers stainless, black, red, brushed brass and brushed gray knobs, plus chrome, brass or brushed brass bezels, in stainless, black or white finishes. Those choices drive the price spread.
Note the model number: the current SKU is DF36450G/S/P, with an LP version for propane. Wolf also sells a charbroiler version (DF36450C) and a six-burner version (DF36650) at the same width.
Because the finish and trim choices are so broad, see them in person before ordering. Black and white bodies, brass bezels and brushed knobs read very differently under kitchen lighting than they do online.
Performance on paper
Wolf rates the front-left burner at 20,000 BTU, front-right at 18,000, rear-right at 15,000 and rear-left at 9,200. That spread gives you a true high-heat burner for searing and wok work, two strong all-purpose burners and a gentle rear burner for sauces. Dual-stacked burners split the flame into upper and lower tiers, which is how Wolf gets both power and a steady low simmer.
The 6.3-cubic-foot oven is large for a 36-inch range. Dual VertiCross convection is built for even baking across multiple racks, and Gourmet mode automates common dishes. Electric ovens hold temperature more tightly than gas, which is why bakers favor dual fuel.
Who it's for (and who should skip it)
Buy it if you sear, simmer and bake in equal measure and want the most proven name in pro ranges. Skip it if you rarely use a griddle, want six burners, or would rather spend the difference on ventilation or a second oven.
It's also the easiest pro range to pair with a full Sub-Zero suite, since both brands come from Sub-Zero Group and share the Owner's App.
Price, warranty and service
List price is about $13,995 to $15,580. Wolf enforces minimum advertised pricing, so savings come from dealer packages with Sub-Zero refrigeration. Warranty is 2 years full and 5 years limited, per retailer listings. Budget for a capable hood; this range needs one.
Plan the hood in the same budget conversation; a 20,000 BTU burner plus a griddle needs real capture area and airflow.
How it compares

Our verdict
The Wolf 36 dual fuel is the safest high-end range you can buy: strong, versatile burners, a big precise oven and a griddle that earns its space. It's expensive and the warranty is ordinary, but for cooks who bake as much as they sear, it's the standard others are judged against.

Questions about the Wolf 36-inch Dual Fuel Range, 4 Burners + Infrared Griddle
Is the Wolf 36-inch dual fuel range worth it?
For serious cooks who bake, generally yes. You get a 20,000 BTU top burner, a 6.3-cubic-foot dual-convection electric oven and an infrared griddle. If you mostly cook on the stovetop, Wolf's all-gas 36-inch range costs far less and may be enough.
What is the difference between Wolf DF36450G and DF36650?
The DF36450G has four burners plus a 15,000 BTU infrared griddle. The DF36650 has six burners and no griddle. The DF36450C swaps the griddle for a charbroiler. All are 36 inches wide with dual fuel ovens; choose based on how you cook.
Do Wolf ranges come with red knobs?
Red knobs are an option, not the only choice. Wolf offers stainless, black, red, brushed brass and brushed gray knobs, with chrome, brass or brushed brass bezels. Your knob and bezel picks affect the final list price, which runs from about $13,995 to $15,580.
