Cove is the dishwasher brand of Sub-Zero Group, the Madison, Wisconsin company that also owns Sub-Zero and Wolf. It exists for one job: to complete a Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen with a quiet, panel-ready dishwasher that shares the same design language, handles and owner's app.

Our database carries one Cove model, the Cove 24-inch DW2451. It's rated at 41 dBA and offers 12 wash cycles, 6 add-on options, 45 spray jets across 3 spray arms and a 4-stage fine mesh filter. An adjustable middle rack with a stemware rail, four interior LEDs and a fastenerless stainless interior round it out, along with app alerts and remote start. List prices run from about $2,935 panel-ready to about $3,160 with a stainless door kit and pro handle. The DW2450 is now a legacy model.

Cove's warranty is one of the stronger ones in dishwashers: full 2-year parts and labor, limited 5-year parts on pumps, motors, control boards and baskets, and a limited lifetime warranty on the stainless tub and door liner.

Who should shop Cove: buyers already choosing Sub-Zero and Wolf who want matching hardware and one service family, and people who wash lots of stemware. Who should skip it: anyone buying a dishwasher on specs alone. The Bosch Benchmark is quieter on paper and costs less, and Miele's G 7000 AutoDos adds automatic dosing for less.

The Cove dishwasher (24-inch DW2451) is the dishwasher Sub-Zero Group built to match Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchens, and on paper it backs up the badge. It's rated at 41 dBA, offers 12 wash cycles and 6 add-on options, and uses 3 spray arms with 45 jets and a 4-stage filter. Coverage is strong too, including a limited lifetime warranty on the stainless tub and door liner. At about $2,935 to $3,160 MSRP it's the priciest standard dishwasher we cover, so it makes most sense in an all-Sub-Zero/Wolf kitchen.

Questions about Cove

Is a Cove dishwasher worth it?

It's worth it mainly inside a Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen, where matching design, one owner's app and a strong parts warranty add value. As a standalone purchase, the Bosch Benchmark is quieter on paper (39 vs 41 dBA) and lists for about $936 less, so Cove is a harder sell on specs alone.

How many place settings does a Cove dishwasher hold?

Cove doesn't state place settings in the spec sheet we reviewed for the DW2451. It does list an adjustable middle rack and a stemware rail for flexible loading. If capacity matters to you, ask your dealer for the current spec sheet or compare against the Bosch Benchmark, which publishes 16 place settings.

Does Cove come in stainless steel?

Yes, as an option. The DW2451 is panel-ready by default, so it can take a cabinet panel, and Cove also sells a stainless door kit with a tubular or pro handle. That kit raises the list price from about $2,935 to about $3,160 and matches Sub-Zero and Wolf stainless hardware.
