The EVS 7010 is a 24-inch-wide, 5.5-inch-tall drawer meant to sit under a Miele steam oven or speed oven. The handleless Push2open front and flush sensor touch panel keep the oven wall clean. Other colors such as Graphite Grey exist in other markets, but we couldn't verify US pricing for them.
Performance on paper: how the Miele vacuum sealer works
This is a chamber vacuum, not a clamp-style countertop sealer. The whole bag sits inside the 8-liter chamber, which is why it can seal liquids and marinades without sucking them into the pump. Three vacuum levels let you go gentle on berries or soft fish and harder on meat headed for a long sous-vide cook.
Watch the 3.25-inch usable interior height. Flat, portioned food fits fine, but a tall container won't. The maximum bag size is 250 x 350 mm. The sealing bar is replaceable, a sensible detail on a drawer you'll keep for years.
Who it's for (and who should skip it)
Buy it if you own or are buying a Miele combi-steam oven and want true sous vide at home, or if you batch-cook and freeze. Quick-marinating is a bonus.
Skip it if you'd use it a few times a month. A countertop chamber sealer does the same job for far less, and the drawer slot could hold a warming drawer instead.

Do I need a Miele steam oven to use the vacuum drawer?
