The Monogram Statement 36-inch professional gas rangetop (ZGU366NTSS) is the sweet spot between Wolf's control and BlueStar's power. Two 23,000 BTU burners handle hard searing, all six burners simmer down to 140°F, and reversible grates flip to a wok-contoured side. AJ Madison lists an MSRP of about $5,940, selling near $5,400. App control and color lighting need an extra connection module, and it's stainless only. For most serious home cooks, it's a very well-balanced rangetop.
Best for: Serious cooks · Gas-flame cooking · Entertainers

Design and build
The ZGU366NTSS is part of Monogram's Statement collection, GE Appliances' luxury line (GE Appliances is a Haier company). It's stainless with solid brass knob blades, electronic ignition with auto re-ignition and ADA compliance. Custom-color LED accent lighting is built in, but you need the optional connection module to use it.
The reversible grates are a smart touch. One side is flat for skillets and saucepans; flip them over for a wok-contoured surface that cradles a round-bottomed wok.
Performance on paper
Monogram lists two 23,000 BTU burners, two at 18,000 and two at 15,000. That gives you two true high-heat positions, more than Wolf's single 20,000 BTU burner, while every burner can turn down to a 140°F simmer. It's a well-rounded layout for families who sear, boil and hold sauces at the same time.
There's a spec conflict worth knowing about. AJ Madison's title calls it "WiFi compatible," but its spec table says Wi-Fi: No. Both are partly right: the rangetop has no built-in Wi-Fi, and SmartHQ app control needs the separate connection module.
Who it's for (and who should skip it)
Buy it if you want strong output without BlueStar's price, cook with a wok, and want every burner to simmer. It also pairs well with Monogram wall ovens and refrigeration, and the included LP kit is a plus for propane households.
Skip it if you want app features out of the box, color finishes or a griddle. Monogram offers a ZGU364NDTSS with four burners and a griddle, though we haven't verified its price. Wolf remains the choice if you want dual-stacked control on every burner.
Price, warranty and service
AJ Madison lists an MSRP of about $5,940 and sells it at $5,400. The LP conversion kit is included, which saves a separate purchase. Warranty is 2 years limited parts and labor on the entire appliance. Check authorized service coverage in your area before you buy.
How it compares
Wolf vs Thermador rangetops explains the two names most shoppers start with; this Monogram beats both on top-end BTU. The BlueStar Platinum 36 rangetop goes to 25,000 BTU for more money, and the Wolf SRT366 offers finer control. Our best 36-inch gas cooktops and rangetops and the cooktops hub round it out, and the Kitchen Suite Matcher can build a Monogram suite around it.
Our verdict
The Monogram ZGU366NTSS balances power and finesse: two 23,000 BTU burners, a 140°F simmer everywhere and wok-ready grates for about $5,940 MSRP. Smart features cost extra and finishes are limited. It's a strong pick for wok cooks and Monogram suites.
