The Wolf 24-inch E Series Transitional Coffee System (EC2450TE/S) is the coffee machine to buy if your kitchen is already Wolf and you want the wall to match. It lists at $4,365, offers 14 beverage options, and runs from an 84.5 fl oz tank, so it installs without a water line. It replaces the legacy EC24. The trade-off is features: there's no plumbed version, no advertised Wi-Fi and fewer published specs than Miele. It's a clean, simple built-in rather than a coffee-lover's showpiece.
Best for: Coffee lovers · Milk drinks · Push-button convenience · Integrated / panel-ready look

Watch out for
- No plumbed option; you refill an 84.5 fl oz tank

- Wolf doesn't publish pump pressure or bean-hopper capacity
Design and build of the Wolf coffee system
The EC2450TE/S is 17.875 inches tall, 23.5 inches wide and 19 inches deep, and weighs 67 pounds. Its stainless Transitional styling is meant to sit above or below a Wolf E Series wall oven or speed oven, so the column reads as one design. The 19-inch depth is deeper than Bosch's 14.8 inches, so check your cabinet plan. A dual-dispensing spout adjusts in height for espresso cups or tall glasses.
Performance on paper
The built-in grinder has 13 settings, according to a dealer listing, and there's a bypass for pre-ground coffee, which is handy for decaf. The 14 beverage options cover the usual espresso and milk drinks. The insulated milk container keeps milk cold longer, and the froth regulator lets you tune foam.
The water tank is 84.5 fl oz. One dealer lists different numbers, so we used the figure two other dealers agree on. Wolf doesn't publish pump pressure or bean capacity, so we can't compare those directly.
Who it's for (and who should skip it)
Buy it if you're putting Wolf E Series ovens in a column and want a matching coffee machine without running a water line. It's a sensible, low-fuss option for one or two milk drinks a day.
Skip it if you want plumbing, app control, or multiple bean hoppers. The Miele CVA 7845 does all three. If you just want espresso in the wall for less, the Bosch 800 Series is $366 cheaper. Because it's simpler, with no plumbing or Wi-Fi, there's less to go wrong; local authorized Wolf service is the bigger factor in long-term ownership.
Think about where it sits. Coffee machines are used daily, so mount it at counter or chest height in the column, not above a wall oven where you'd reach up with hot milk. A matching E Series oven below or beside keeps the lines clean.
Price, warranty and service
Wolf lists the EC2450TE/S at $4,365. Coverage is 2 years full and 5 years limited, per a dealer listing, matching Wolf's standard warranty. Minimum advertised pricing means savings come from a Sub-Zero and Wolf package; ask a local dealer for a package quote.
How the Wolf coffee system compares
Miele CVA 7845 adds plumbing and three hoppers for about $2,600 more. Fisher & Paykel Series 9 offers a burr grinder and steam wand for less. Compare all of them in our best built-in coffee machines and the coffee hub.
Our verdict
The Wolf E Series coffee system is about matching a Wolf oven column, not leading on coffee specs. It's tank-fed, with 14 drinks and an insulated milk container for $4,365. Buy it to complete a Wolf wall; buy Miele for plumbing and hoppers, or Bosch to save money.

Questions about the Wolf 24-inch E Series Transitional Coffee System
Does the Wolf coffee system need a water line?
No. The EC2450TE/S runs from an 84.5 fl oz removable tank and installs without plumbing. That simplifies installation and lets it go almost anywhere in a column, but it means refilling. If a permanent water connection matters to you, Miele's CVA 7845 is the plumbed alternative, at about $6,999.
Does the Wolf coffee system have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi isn't advertised on any source we checked, so assume it has no app control. That's unlike Miele, Bosch and Thermador, which use their brands' apps. Most owners won't miss it, since you still have to be at the machine to place a cup and start a drink.
Is the Wolf EC2450TE/S different from the old EC24?
Yes. The EC2450TE/S is the current E Series Transitional model and replaces the legacy EC24/S and EC24/B. If you're buying new or matching current Wolf E Series ovens, order the EC2450TE/S and confirm trim, finish and cutout dimensions with your dealer.
