Miele vs Jura: which should you buy?

The short answer
Miele vs Jura is a contest between two flagship super-automatics with different talents. The Jura Z10 is the better coffee machine on paper: 51 specialties, hot and cold extraction and a grinder that adjusts itself to each drink. The Miele CM 7750 is the better household machine if you want three bean containers, two drinks at once and an 8-cup coffee pot function.
Choose Jura if you want cold brew and the deepest drink menu. Choose Miele if you serve a crowd or keep decaf and a second roast on hand.

How Miele and Jura super-automatics differ
The Jura Z10 is built around its P.R.G.2+ product-recognizing grinder, which sets grind for the drink you choose across 7 levels. It extracts hot or cold, so cold brew is a button, not a weekend project. It lists 51 specialties, a fine-foam milk system, a 2.4-liter illuminated tank and a 280 g bean container, and Wi-Fi Connect is included for the J.O.E. app.
The Miele CM 7750 CoffeeSelect solves a different problem. Its CoffeeSelect system holds three bean containers (540 g total), so you can pick espresso, house blend or decaf per drink. OneTouch for Two pours two drinks at once, and the coffee pot function makes up to 8 cups. It lists 20 specialties, a 2.2-liter tank, a glass milk container with automatic rinse and Wi-Fi through the Miele app.
Both are about 12 inches wide. The Jura comes in aluminum black or white; the Miele in obsidian black.
Who should pick Miele vs Jura
Pick Jura if you're the coffee person in the house and want the widest menu, cold drinks and a grinder that thinks for you. Skip it if several people need different beans; one hopper means one roast at a time.
Pick Miele if you host, run a two-coffee household or want decaf on tap without swapping beans. Skip it if cold brew matters to you; it isn't listed.
Miele vs Jura as brands
Here the brands diverge. Jura is a countertop super-automatic specialist. Miele is a full kitchen brand, and its coffee lineup includes built-ins such as the plumbed Miele CVA 7845 (about $6,999 to $7,689), which shares the CoffeeSelect idea. If you're remodeling, a built-in may make more sense; see our built-in coffee machine guide. More at Miele and Jura.
Miele vs Jura price, warranty and service
The Miele CM 7750 lists at about $4,499. The Jura Z10 was $3,999 at one authorized dealer (from $4,399 list), though it showed as sold out when we checked on October 7, 2026. Jura carries a 2-year warranty. Miele's page doesn't state the CM 7750's warranty; Miele's standard is 2 years, but one retailer lists 1 year, so confirm in writing. Frequently asked questions
Is Jura or Miele better for espresso?
On paper, Jura. The Z10's product-recognizing grinder adjusts grind per drink and it adds cold extraction, which is why our editorial ratings, estimated from specs rather than tests, score it a 5 for performance versus 4 for the Miele. Miele's strengths are convenience features: three bean containers, two drinks at once and a coffee pot mode.
Which is better for a big household, Miele or Jura?
Miele. The CM 7750 holds three bean containers, so different drinkers can choose their beans, and OneTouch for Two makes two drinks at once. Its coffee pot function brews up to 8 cups for guests. The Jura Z10 has a deeper menu but one bean container, so everyone shares the same roast.
Does Miele make a built-in version?
Yes. The Miele CVA 7845 is a 24-inch built-in coffee machine with DirectWater plumbing, three bean containers and the same CoffeeSelect concept, listed at about $6,999 to $7,689. Jura's machines in our data are countertop only. If you're remodeling, compare built-ins from Miele, Wolf, Thermador and Bosch on our coffee hub.
