The Best Instant Hot Water Dispensers and Sparkling Water Taps
We may earn a commission from retailers or dealers when you buy or request a quote through our links. It never changes our picks. How we make money.

The best instant hot water dispenser for a luxury kitchen is the Zip HydroTap Cube Plus. It delivers filtered water at 209°F plus chilled water at 44°F from one tap, for about $5,548 with the tap and under-sink unit. If you want sparkling water too, the Zip HydroTap Arc Plus adds it for about $5,845. If you want a sparkling water tap that also replaces your kitchen faucet, choose GROHE Blue. InSinkErator's hot/cool system is the budget option at about $1,088.
One thing to know before you shop: Quooker, the brand most design magazines feature, has no US sales channel, based on our research. Its country selector has no US option. GROHE Red, the boiling version of GROHE Blue, is not listed on grohe.us either. The picks below are what you can actually buy and get serviced in the US.
We have not tested these systems. Our picks come from manufacturer and retailer specs, warranties, prices and what owners and dealers commonly report.

Our picks, in detail
Zip HydroTap Cube Plus Boiling & Chilled System
Zip · Water tap · Boiling water tap
- $5,548-$5,998 MSRP
- 3-yr full warranty
- Flow (gal/min): 1.8
Zip's HydroTap Cube Plus is the closest thing to a true boiling water tap sold in the US. It dispenses filtered water at 209°F, and Zip says its Power-Pulse control holds that within 0.4°F. Chilled water comes out at 44°F from the same spout. It produces 85 cups of boiling water an hour on 120V, and it has a boiling safety lock.
It suits tea and pour-over drinkers, families who cook pasta and blanch vegetables, and anyone who wants to stop using a kettle. It comes in six finishes, including brushed gold and gunmetal. It lists for about $5,548 in chrome, or about $5,998 in other finishes. The tap and under-sink command unit are sold as separate SKUs.
The trade-off is price and cabinet space. The command unit takes up room under the sink, and Zip doesn't publish the tank volume. Zip's US price book lists a 3-year parts-and-labor warranty with registration. Skip it if you rarely need more than a mug at a time.
Zip HydroTap Arc Plus Boiling, Chilled & Sparkling System
Zip · Water tap · Sparkling water tap
- $5,845-$6,295 MSRP
- 2-yr full warranty
- Flow (gal/min): 1.8
The Arc Plus does everything the Cube Plus does and adds sparkling water. It delivers boiling, chilled and sparkling water through one swan-neck tap, filtered to 0.2 microns. Zip rates it at 75 cups of chilled or sparkling water an hour. It's ADA compliant and has the same boiling safety lock.
It's for households that buy cases of sparkling water and want to get rid of them, and for entertainers who want one tap that does it all. It lists for about $5,845 in chrome, or about $6,295 in other finishes.
The trade-offs: the CO2 cylinder and regulator are not included, and you'll need to plan cabinet space for the cylinder (1.5 lb or 5 lb). Warranty listings conflict: Zip's US price book lists 3 years when registered, while some retailers list 2 years, so confirm it at purchase. Skip it if you don't drink sparkling water, because the Cube Plus costs about $300 less.
GROHE Blue Chilled & Sparkling 2.0 Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Starter Kit
GROHE · Water tap · Sparkling water tap
- $4,639-$6,262 MSRP
- Flow (gal/min): 1.75
GROHE Blue is the best sparkling water faucet if you want one fixture rather than two. It's your main kitchen faucet for hot and cold tap water, and it also dispenses filtered chilled still, medium and sparkling water. An under-sink chiller and carbonator does the work. A color LED ring shows which water you've chosen, and the GROHE app tracks CO2 and filter status.
It suits kitchens where the sink deck is crowded, and families who drink a lot of chilled and sparkling water. List price is about $4,639 in StarLight Chrome and about $6,262 in SuperSteel. GROHE's site showed a sale price of $3,479.25 on October 7, 2026, with no end date stated.
The trade-off is no hot water beyond your normal tap; it doesn't dispense boiling water. Filters, CO2 cylinders and cleaning cartridges are extra. GROHE's lifetime warranty covers the faucet and finishes, but the terms for the chiller electronics were not stated. Skip it if boiling water is the main goal.
InSinkErator Indulge Modern Hot/Cool Faucet + Instant Hot Tank & Filter
InSinkErator · Water tap · Boiling water tap
- $1,088-$1,227 MSRP
- 3-yr full warranty
- Max temperature (°F): 210
InSinkErator's Indulge Modern system is the sensible choice if you want instant hot water without paying $5,000 or more. A dedicated faucet draws from a 2/3-gallon stainless tank set to 200°F at the factory, with a thermostat that adjusts from 160 to 210°F. It produces 60 cups an hour at 200°F, and the F-1000 filtration system is included.
It suits tea drinkers, families with oatmeal and instant-noodle habits, and smaller kitchens. The faucet and tank together list for about $1,088 in chrome, or about $1,227 in matte black. The faucet has a 5-year in-home service warranty, and the tank has 3 years limited.
The trade-off: it's a near-boiling system, not a true boiling tap. Per our research it delivers about 200°F rather than a full boil. The cool water is filtered but not refrigerated. Skip it if you want chilled or sparkling water from the same tap.
How to choose an instant hot water dispenser or sparkling water tap
Decide which waters you'll really use every day: boiling, chilled, sparkling, or a mix. Every extra function adds hardware under the sink and an ongoing cost for filters or CO2.

Boiling water tap vs instant hot water faucet
A true boiling water tap, like the Zip HydroTap, holds water at about 209°F, which is hot enough for black tea and blanching. A standard instant hot water faucet like InSinkErator's runs near 200°F. That's fine for most tea, cocoa, oatmeal and quick cleanup. The price gap is large, so be honest about whether those last few degrees matter to you. Our instant hot water taps guide goes into more detail.
Sparkling water tap options
There are two approaches. Zip adds sparkling water to a dedicated drinking-water tap that sits beside your main faucet. GROHE Blue builds it into the main faucet. One fixture keeps the sink deck clean. Two fixtures mean a failure in one doesn't leave you without a working faucet. Either way, budget for CO2 cylinders and filter replacements. Zip lists filter life at 1,100 gallons or 12 months, and GROHE at 600 liters.
Under-sink space and installation
All of these need space under the sink and an electrical outlet. A boiling, chilled and sparkling system shares that cabinet with a disposer, filter, and possibly a CO2 cylinder. Measure before you order, and have your plumber review the layout when you plan the sink run. If you're also deciding on a dishwasher next to the sink, see our best luxury dishwashers.
Safety and households with kids
Boiling water at the sink is a real burn risk. Both Zip systems have a boiling safety lock, and the Arc Plus is ADA compliant. InSinkErator's lower factory temperature is a little more forgiving. If you have young children, choose a tap with a lock, and consider placing it away from the main prep sink.
Pairing with coffee
Coffee people often use a boiling tap for pour-over and a separate espresso machine for everything else. If that's you, see the coffee hub and our best built-in coffee machines. Browse all four systems on the water taps hub, or open individual pages like the Zip HydroTap Arc Plus and the InSinkErator Indulge system.
Frequently asked questions
Is a boiling water tap worth it?
A boiling water tap is worth it if you boil a kettle several times a day or cook a lot of pasta and vegetables. It gives you water at about 209°F instantly, and it frees counter space. At about $5,500 or more for a Zip HydroTap, it's a luxury. If near-boiling water is enough, an InSinkErator system at about $1,100 covers most uses.
Can I buy a Quooker in the US?
Based on our research, no. Quooker's country selector does not include the United States, and we found no US sales channel. That also matters for service, since you want local support for an appliance that holds boiling water. In the US, the closest equivalents are Zip's HydroTap Cube Plus for boiling and chilled water, and the Arc Plus if you also want sparkling.
Does InSinkErator make boiling water?
Not quite. InSinkErator's Indulge system is set to 200°F at the factory, and its thermostat adjusts from 160 to 210°F. Per our research it delivers near-boiling water rather than a true full boil. That's hot enough for most tea, instant oatmeal and cleanup. If you want water held at about 209°F, look at Zip's HydroTap.
How does a sparkling water tap work?
An under-sink unit chills filtered water and injects CO2 from a cylinder, then sends it to the tap when you press a button. GROHE Blue builds this into your main kitchen faucet, while Zip uses a separate drinking-water tap. You'll replace filters and CO2 cylinders over time, so include those costs in your budget along with the purchase price.
What is the best sparkling water faucet?
GROHE Blue is our pick for a sparkling water faucet that also works as your main kitchen faucet. It dispenses filtered chilled, medium and sparkling water plus regular hot and cold water, and it lists for about $4,639 in chrome. If you want boiling water as well, the Zip HydroTap Arc Plus covers boiling, chilled and sparkling water from one tap.
